Back To The Future... Kinda

It's been a long couple months since our last update. I'm sorry. Not having internet makes it super hard to use the internet, who woulda thought?

In some ways its been nice to disconnect from the distraction, but not nice to be disconnected from everyone we love and miss back home. As I write this I'm sitting in a hostel in the middle of Hong Kong after successfully switching my visa. I head back to mainland China tomorrow. Here's our update in 2 minutes.

So we had a baby! Isaac John Peterson was born Nov 1st. The labor went much better than we could have imagined, but that's easy for me to say since I didn't have the baby. Heather did an incredible job and both her and baby are healthy. Something I don't want to forget was that when Isaac was born it started snowing. I don't know what that means, but it was cool nonetheless.

We finished our apartment! And are nearly done with our guest house as well. It was a difficult process to do and I'm incredibly grateful to have it almost done. Now when you come visit us you can stay across the hallway from us.

We celebrated Lily's 5th Birthday! Our little girl has been with us for nearly two years and it was fun celebrating Lily. After eating cake, opening presents, and having friends over for her party, when asked what her favorite part of her birthday was Lily replied "Making my cake with Mommy" super precious. The next day I asked her if she liked her presents and she said she liked her family more (or something to that effect) again... super precious.

We celebrated Heather's Birthday! If you remember both Heather and Lily have the same birthday so we also got to celebrate Heather! Dan came over to watch the kids and we went to a restaurant here where we enjoyed some good food and good memories.

Sorry for not posting pictures... When I'm at home, with internet I will do better with getting some pictures of Isaac up. Don't hate me.
