Tonight our case worker arrives in Xining to begin the nearly three day process of evaluating our family and seeing if we're fit to adopt. The first night we will spend an hour and a half going over our paper work. The next day she will interview Heather and I for 2-3 hours and I guess the questions are pretty personal. Later on she will interview each of us separately and our children. Then she will have lunch with us to see how we are as a family and finally she will take Heather and I through a four hour training session.
After that she will leave and we will continue to collect our paperwork for her. She will write her report over the next month or so and then (if we pass) we will move on to the next step.
