DIY, Anniversary, and No Greater Joy Dad

Well we ended our summer by doing a little DIY project around the house. My wife has wanted to paint a bunch of stuff for a while now and we finally made it happen. I’m being a little generous with the term DIY, because we called one of my friends who’s a professional painter to help us. But, seriously, I did a lot of the work “myself”.

Also, Heather and I celebrated our 7 year anniversary! We celebrated almost exactly how we did last year; a romantic dinner at a classy restaurant called Subway. Afterwards we headed to an outdoor market here and picked up some movies. It was nice to get to spend some time together.
